Bon anniversaire Maman chérie!

I woke up quite early, took a shower, packed my bag and checked out but left my bag at the reception. I took a quick breakfast and looked for a collectivo that goes to the ruins. 20 minutes later I was queueing for the tickets. Behind me 2 people were talking english and seems quite young so I asked them if they wanted to share a guide, they passed, but finally we decided to visit the ruins together : Mickael - american and Georgina - english (her accent made me feel at home again !!!).

We had a lot of fun, talk about movies (especially Star Wars), series (true blood, lost...), travels, life and other matters. We also climbed a lot, went underground, rest (a lot !!!) to talk some more and hide from the sun !! We also took nice pictures ! To see and know more about the site of Palenque it's HERE.

After the main part of the site, we arrived in the forgotten part, in the jungle, really really nice, but so hot and humid....... It was still good to be in the shade. After the jungle it's the end of the visit and you arrive where the museum is, open ! But no so interresting. With Michael, we camped in front of the fan !!!!

After the museum we took a collectivo back to the town, we drop Michael at his hotel to pick up his stuff. We met again at the bus station. Because Michael was good in spanish he helped me change my bus ticket, instead of doing : Palenque - Merida / Merida - Cancun,  I'm going straight to Cancun. After putting his bag in the checkroom, we went for lunch, in the place we discovered with Monica the day before, but that day we went on the terrace it was really nice. 

They both left around 5pm, my bus was at 10pm so I decided to go in an internet cafe for 2 hours, the 1st one I went had no webcam nor microphone... so I stayed 1 hour and looked for another place. I found one in the corner of my street, I stayed there until 8.30pm time to pick up my bag and find some food for my 13 hours drive....

At the station, waiting for my bus I met 2 french guys living in Montreal. We had a nice talk, and because their  bus for Playa del Carmen was 3 hours late, they decided to take the same as me who also stop in Playa. The bus was 45min late, but once in, everyone start sleeping (kind of).
